OCL is a considered a preferred contractor to Chorus. Thier success and future growth requires an innovative approach to product and service development that responds to the transition from copper to a new fibre world. Thats where we step in. OCL works closely with Chorus on all their Data Cabling and Fibre Optic services. The development of these new services, has seen Chorus recently re-launched it’s VDSL proposition.
Chorus products are used by telecommunications service providers, to deliver voice, broadband and data services to New Zealand homes and businesses. They offer a full suite of products delivered over our copper network and new products designed to provide access to the UFB fibre network.
Thier products are structured in a way to provide thier customers a logical pathway to move from a basicbroadband service to ultrafast broadband.

OCL are proud to be a preferred supplier to Visionstream. Visionstream has the exclusive contract with Chorus for the supply and build of Ultra Fast Broadband (UFB) for the Auckland and Northern regions. OCL provides a “turn key” solution to Visionstream for the UFB. OCL has great pride in being part of one of New Zealand’s largest infrastructure and capital works programme that is designed to improve the efficiency of all New Zealanders for the foreseeable future. Fibre Optics is our future – there will be a large quantity of content that will be delivered via Fibre in years to come.  OCL has had a large roll in this design and build project.

OCL has enjoyed a long term relationship with Auckland University.  Auckland University is the largest single property owner in New Zealand. OCL has completed a large quantity of projects for Auckland University including re-cabling of the new Medical School Campus which involved three new buildings and 4 existing 7 story buildings.  In addition to this, OCL completed the re-cable of the Science Block which was a design and refurbishment project taking over 2 ½ years to complete. OCL are proud of our relationship with Auckland University and look forward to continuing a long association with this organisation.

OCL are enlisted to provide fibre design and fibre installation to Watercare Services. Needless to say Watercare Services have an immense responsibility for the supply of water to over 1 million homes in the Auckland region. The only way this can be achieved is through effective management of water from there numerous supply options. Watercare Services have an extensive communication network linking all reservoirs and substations to control water flow. OCL take the responsibility of providing 24/7 services to Watercare very seriously and are on call to ensure we support this essential service.
